Hey guys...long time no see...er..kinda? Anyway, we're back with another release--this one is from a series that we last updated 580 days ago O_O The title is Sapphire: Ribbon Knight. It's pretty cute, so be sure to give it a read :") The reason why it took so long to get this chapter released was because of my procrastinate-erly self...it somehow took me like, four months to get around to editing this =3=; especially since the SFXs kill, and there are two double pages T_T

Also ... in every news post I have to have a spam section *shot* We're still looking for scanners, translators, editors, and QCers (you NEED to have experience if you're applying to be a QCer. I'm picky about these D< ). Part of the reason why the releases are coming so slowly is because of lack of staff...ESPECIALLY EDITORS. So, ya know...if you want faster releases...if you wanna help out because you're such a good person like that... ;) I wouldn't mind if you sent in an email to apply to work at DS. Especially as an editor..*cough* ... 8D

Er...anyway, now that I'm done spamming. Today's release is really small--it's from the end of the first volume of Good Morning Kiss. It's the 6th (I believe?) I Love Shopping extra...in which the mangaka talks about buying dresses xD I read it and it was pretty funny, actually...*snickers*. Anyway, enjoy, guys. Even though it's a small chapter, the same rules apply alright? I don't think I need to repeat it like a mantra over and over. But I just like to because I'm annoying like that. XD;;;

In case if you didn't know, today is the anniversary of our wonderful joint group (is that what it's called?)Midnight Scans! They're another great shoujo group that is celebrating their second anniversary today.

Also, in case if you guys didn't realize, today is Independence Day for the US. So Happy 4th of July, all of you out there :) Hope you guys have a great day and for anyone out there who lives in the US, go and watch some fireworks! 8D

Today DS and Midnight Scans come together to bring you the third chapter of Ayakashi Koi Emaki. In case if you didn't realize, the second chapter has also been released--it was released yesterday (shh...I TOTALLY made a post about it. XD). So I hope you guys enjoy these two chapters. Just like to wish you all a HAPPY CANADA DAAY. Because it's not July 2nd here yet. I dunno how many of you guys are Canadian but if you are, I hope you went out and saw some fireworks, eh? :") Me, that's exactly what I did. Aside from that, we have a release--the first one in months! (Er...1 months. Lol. And a bit more.) I apologize fore the extremely slow releases, it's just that a lot of people are recently busy with end of the year projects and exams...and some are just starting with school. I know I myself was one of those swamped-with-homework kids and am just starting to get over it now.

Anyway, enough talking about myself. Today Divine Sanctuary and Midnight Scans are releasing the first project of a project called Aiomou Hito--Sex Friend. Again, thanks soo much to MS for their hard work and for putting up with us all this time x_x we're a handful, I know. >: Nevertheless, I'm super-glad that we were able to continue this series. In case if some of you have noticed....we've been kinda inactive for the past 2 weeks, since our anni passed by. Why is that? WELL. Since our anni passed by, Kat has ben absolutely swamped with work. :| It's nearing the end of the year for me, which is a good thing, but it also means that I get a million projects from my teachers. Therefore, I have absolutely no time whatsoever to scanlate manga or manage the projects. I'm sorry for the delay on all of the projects, but I promise that when summer comes I'll start working again :| (Not that I haven't been working now, I just don't have enough time to =A=;;;) From now until the end of the year, I still have two projects, a test, and three exams...T___T So I apologize again but you'll have to bear with me until June 18, which is my last exam... >____>"

Hello, all you readers and lurkers.

Guess what? Today--yes, today, the 18th, of May (Hey, that rhymes :D)--is the thiiiiird! anniversary of Divine Sanctuary. What does that mean? That means DS has lived through three years. And it was, as Charles Dickens once said in A Tale of Two Cities (God please tell me I have this quote/person/story right) "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times." Because really, it was. I loved being with DS. I wasn't even here for the 1st anniversary but now, I love it. I love working with the staff and chatting with everyone here. Looove. Rabu rabu. The people are amazing--both staff and non-staff. I've had a really great time with everyone here, and I really do hope that you guys had/are having as great as a time as I am.

It was also "the worst of times". Believe me. During my stay at DS, I've had my share of ..."the worst of time" moments. ^^; But we've lived through all of those, right? And now, almost a year later, DS is getting back on track. And that's what I'm glad of. Sure, we've had our low times, but see, we got back up ^^ And that just proves that DS will never, ever die off. BAAHA. <3

See, and my mom tells me this is a waste of time. Look at all the leadership skills I put into this thing. Not to mention organization, responsibility, and I even have to use my brain, and I get to learn to cooperate with others, and *goes on and on ...* Point being, manga scanlation is not useless, MOTHER =__= even if it is time-consuming and illegal maybe not the best hobby (considering I've probably gotten a few white hairs from this experience).

Anyway, maybe I should stop blabbing and get on to the releases o_____o" So ... the release schedule was a bit weird today. ><" First half came at like 10:00 am and second half came like.. well, like, just now. So what did we release? You'll be happy to hear.

Hey all :) I'm here with another release >) Seems like we've been having these three weeks in a row. Yay. I'm happy. Releases. XD Anyway, we have another chapter of  Alice Kara Mahou here chapter 4! :) This is the last chapter in the volume, and then there's a short little special...and then we're into the last volume of the series (there are only two volumes) <3. I hope you guys like reading this :D It's actually a pretty cute story ^^

I think an introduction will be necessary. Hello there, I'm Kat, also known as kkaixi on DS.

Now you may ask, "Why is this Kat character here, all of a sudden, to post?" Well, the reason for this is because we have new releases. Yes, we do. Those new releases are: AAA Chapter 13 and a oneshot, called Girls Be Lovely! :)

I'm aware of the fact that our group has not been the best in keeping up with scanlations and stuff. However, all of that is about to change magically...today. I'll work hard to release quickly and efficiently (?), with, of course, the same quality as before.

I know I'm going on about this, and you want to get to your release and stuff, and I've been saying this in pretty much every single post, but it's REALLY IMPORTANT. We all know the importance of rules, right? Creates order and all that smazz? (Yes, I made that word up) Well, here at DS, we have rules too. Especially about re-posting our stuff. If you're not familiar with the rules, there are only two:

- Ask us for permission before reposting ANYWHERE. Yeah, anywhere. If you need to contact us for permission, please email me at kkaixi@yahoo.ca OR PM me (kkaixi).

- Wait a week before reposting period. We want to be credited for our work, we want people to actually come to our forums and check out our scanlation site. So please, don't repost this anywhere. And you'd need our permission for this anyway. :P

As you all have probably noticed we have a new website system this system was created by me (FoxSpiritKing). It took a while before I finally finished it but it should get better in a while atm it's easier or the staff to add new things to the website and ive also added a some new functions to the public parts like the two boxes at the top which show our latest releases and latest news posted on the website do mind that not everything is finished yet and this is still a beta.

Also something that hasn't been mentioned officialy is that I have temporarily taken over from Lilazangel because she lacked time same for all the other admins and therefore I became the leader of divine sanctuary until one of them has time again.

I also want to mention the new news system which has the abiltiy to add comments to news on the website which made our guestbook kind of useless ass we already had a chat and all i will also add this option to the series later on same with some other functions that will have to wait.

Anyways I also hope that we can release some more series in the near future.

Hello~

First things first, I'm finally back after a year long hiatus! Unfortunately, because I was so busy with life, I was unable to be here to help out and watch Divine Sanctuary grow (I even missed DS's second anniversary! D:). However, I'm going to be returning now to help out as much as I can to make up for what I missed. I am truly grateful to all of the other staff members for being here to keep Divine Sanctuary running while I was away.

Secondly, after reading through some of my old news posts, I realized that I never officially announced the new Divine Sanctuary site and forum! If you haven't noticed before, DS has changed links and servers thanks to the help of our awesome website designer/coder and domain owner, FoxSpiritKing (previously known as fearnaruto). He is seriously AMAZING and he's the one who creates everything regarding the site and forum and fixes all the bugs. And for all this and more, we're are eternally greatful to him. :D

We're back with new releases we hope you all will be happy with! A while ago, we released Himitsu chapter 2 and Mistress Fortune chapter 2. Today, we're releasing AAA chapter 5, Eve chapter 2, and the much anticipated, Special A chapters 35-40! Like we've mentioned so many times before, we ARE NOT dropping Special A. However, there is a bit of sad news.

After over a year of working together, we will no longer be jointing with Vampire Knight (VK) for Special A and Sonna due to busy life schedules. We will still be continuing these series, just not with VK. This will be a very sad goodbye for us, but we wish them the best and will work hard for them. It has been a great honor working with them. ^^

Yay! Vacation time! I know we promised another anniversary release, but due to some difficulties, it couldn't happen. We are very very sorry for that. One year ago, Ajisai-no-Kimi, xMidnightEnvyx, miara_rigawa, and I decided to create a scanlation group named Divine Sanctuary. And now, one year later, our group has grown into a fantastic scanlation group with great new projects and staff! I'm happy to say that I am very proud of what Divine Sanctuary has become today and none of it would have been possible without the help of our wonderful staff and our loving supporters. I want to thank you with all my heart, and a very special thank you to my Sarah-chan (Ajisai-no-Kimi) who has helped me out so much with the group when I needed her. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Valentine's Day is a day that's supposed to be filled with love, so make sure you let that special someone know how you feel if you haven't already. Heya! Remember a while back when we used to do a joint with Manga Abyss? Well, we're doing a brand new joint with them and Shoujo Crusade, two VERY great groups to work with! The new joint is Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu by Minami Kanan! I'm personally a big fan of Minami Kanan, so I'm hoping that everyone else will enjoy it as much as I'm planning to. Well, that pretty much brings and end to the special holiday releases (so sad...). In the last few weeks, we've been able to release nine new chapters of Special A and one new chapter of Shiiku Hime. But aside from that, we've also been able to start a brand new series called "Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi." Hey everybody! Happy Thanksgiving! I know we didn't stick to the plan and release anything for two weeks, but that's because we were saving the releases for today! We have two new releases for everyone. Shiiku Hime chapter 1 and Yume Chu chapter 1. Shiiku Hime is a new smut (well, it's by Minami Kanan) series that we're going to be working on with Covenant of Darkness. Hopefully you'll all like it. And yeah, I know, we FINALLY released Yume Chu. XD Just think of it this way. The wait was worth it!

Mmmm 'kay, first off, we have another release for you all! A few days ago, it was Cherry Juice chapter 16, today it's Hoshi wa Utau chapter 2! I hope you all enjoy it and we get a few less complainers. T___T We're working on the rules so I guess we'll just have to see.

That's not it though. I also want to let everyone know that we are planning to start releasing at least 1 chapter of any of our projects every 1-2 weeks from now on. Hopefully this will make it seem like we're not "dead".

And don't forget, we are still recruiting translators and editors! If you can help, send us an email or post at our forums.

Hey everyone! Happy Halloween (though it may or may not be Halloween for everyone)! For a Halloween special, we bring to you Cherry Juice chapter 16! It's been a while since we released Cherry Juice, but don't worry, we plan to start working on it more and more now that our editor is back! See? Didn't we tell you we didn't drop it? XD

Also, we really need editors and Japanese/Chinese translators to help us out. First of all, I want to apologize for not announcing that we released a new chapter of Special A when I was supposed to a while ago. I've just been way too busy with everything. But anyways, here's a the new chapter for you all, Special A chapter 23! It's really quite the intersting chapter, so I hope you all enjoy it (I swear, I say that too much XD)!

Hey everyone! We've got another new project for you and one on the way. Our new active project is "Sonna Koe Dashicha Iya!" and it is a brand new joint with VK. We just released a new chapter of it today from where Sugar Oasis left off, so we hope everyone enjoys it.

We also have another new joint project coming soon called "Shiiku Hime" by Minami Kanan. The joint will be between us and Covenant of Darkness. We sure do have a lot of joints, don't we?

And finally, just to let everyone know, we ARE NOT dropping Cherry Juice or any of our other projects. If we were, we'd let everyone know by moving them to the "dropped" section of the site. So hopefully, that clears things up.

Haha, it really seems like we've been releasing a lot of scanlations lately doesn't it? 4 chapters of Special A and 1 chapter of Yamamoto. Here's another one for everyone read! We're releasing another new series called Fantamir. Unlike our other series, this one is a manwha! So to wrap this all up, Fantamir chapter 0 is released! And no, that wasn't a typo, it really is chapter 0 because it is an introduction chapter! Hehe, anyways, I'll just be quiet now and hope you enjoy the new release! Soo...Enjoy! XD

Yesterday we released 4 new chapters of Special A. Today we're releasing the first chapter of a new project! As usual, the chapter can be downloaded at our forum after a certain number of posts. Our new project is Yamamoto Zenjirou To Moushimasu and from today on, it's going to be our joint with Eternal Enchantment! Please respect their terms of service as well as ours. Eh... I know it seems like we've been pretty inactive for a while, but don't worry, we're still alive and running! Anyways, here comes another big release for Special A! Chapters 19, 20, 21, and 22! Don't forget that our download links are only available at our forum after a certain number of posts, so please don't us ask where the links are.

Also, this is the Special A last release that Manga Abyss will be a part of... Divine Sanctuary and VK will continue to work on this project, but Manga Abyss will not. We will miss them very much and it was an honor to work with them. <3

Soooo, another Special A chapter is released! Volume 4 chapter 18 to be exact. We're finally on volume 4 now! I hope everyone enjoys the new chapter. And Don't forget to thank the staff from Manga Abyss and Vampire Knight since they do a lot of work with this project too!

Well, we've reached our limit now. After some searching, I found that our releases were being distributed without permission again. So now, unfortunately, we are taking some action. Starting from today, our releases will NOT be available at this site anymore just because of the leechers who take without asking. The site will still be used for release information and what not, but the links will no longer be provided here. If you still wish to download our releases, they are available at our forum ( z11.invisionfree.com/divine_sanctuary). Sorry everyone, but this is what happens when rules are broken. Just hope we don't find it happening again.
